We finally bought a new camera for our big trip (more later). We wanted something a little more advanced than your basic point and shoot and after combing through Consumer Reports, we decided on a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. From Costco, of course.
So far, we are extremely happy with the quality of the pictures taken.
