Late October Doings

We are loving the fall colors right now, especially after it has stopped raining during the last few days.

What we have been doing:

  • walking in the park (Riverside with family, Central Park by myself), especially when it’s not raining (see Henry below).
  • swinging, obviously.
  • making applesauce. Inspired by Missy’s visit and very helpful post. I have made three batches so far and bought more apples this morning at the farmer’s market. My freezer is getting full… Cate loves it.
  • accepting new jobs. Telfer accepted a position with the Olympia Anesthesia Group yesterday. The start date hasn’t been completely decided but he anticipates starting in July or August of 2010. It’s nice to know for sure where we’re headed after this year!

  1. Lots of little things to make me smile. I might have to get on the applesauce band-wagon (or maybe next year) – it sounds delicious. Guess I better start investing in train tickets:). So excited for our little girls to swing together someday…
