My big toe is really the only part of me that has lasting Hood to Coast trauma…
Hood to Coast 2007
As RaChelle has already remarked (see her blog for more pictures and commentary), Hood to Coast was an adventure of a lifetime. It’s the THEME, we aren’t that nerdy! H2C is the largest relay in the world from Mount Hood to Seaside, Oregon. We had twelve people on our team (mostly teachers from RaChelle’s school) and we each (theoretically) ran 3 legs between 4-8 miles.
RaChelle asked me to do this last fall and as my last sporting event was walking Bloomsday in the 7th grade, running Hood 2 Coast required a bit more preparation…but, and I guess, this says it all, I will definitely be back next year!

The most comfortable spot in the house
Henry’s favorite place in the whole house to hang out is in the small space beneath the cart in the kitchen.

Henry is not a fan of the bath
Since Henry is white, baths are a necessity. He tries SO HARD to jump out of the tub. It’s hard to say who’s wetter at the end, me or Henry. But he does come out looking all white and fluffy; I just come out looking wet and bedraggled.
