Moving Day.

Imgp0354We moved very handily on Saturday morning, thanks to our Koinonia group.  What a helpful bunch they are – Telfer got the U-Haul truck to our apartment at about 8:00 – by 10:00 a.m. we had the truck loaded and then unloaded at our new house (well, we unloaded all of our stuff into the garage (literally – it’s an apartment with a bathroom and stuff).  This is a group photo of the morning – we appreciate them all so much!  More moving pictures are in the 2005 photo album.

TelferAnd THEN, Telfer and I were planning to tile the kitchen after we moved. Of course, we didn’t really know what we were doing, and so Ron (from our church) and his son Randy (an 8th grader) stayed and helped Telfer until 10:00 p.m. that night. In between, we had a surprise visit from Chris and Mendy – they took us out to dinner and then I played with them while Telfer worked. Not too shabby.
