Henry at 7 weeks

So today is Henry’s first birthday.
Our pastor off-handedly and a bit sarcastically remarked that "dogs are the new children" in his sermon last week, and so we promptly went out and spent $15 on a cake Henry could eat. We had Paggie and Paul (Paggie’s our cute renter) over for a celebratory dinner last night. Pictures to the left.

That’s fantastic! It looks like he enjoyed his cake! (Seeing as how I’ve seen no shortage of children as yet, I’d say we’re in no danger of dogs replacing children anytime soon!)

Henry, don’t tell Scout. Although Scout does get a generic birthday card from our pastor (Church) each year…along with every other person in the Church. We’re not sure if they realize they are sending a card to a dog or…:->
