Telfer and I decided (for the record: his idea) to reenact the events of New Year’s Eve 1999, namely, we watched Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea. We party hard.
In 1999, not even Y2K could keep my eyes open and I pretty much slept all the way through both Anne movies. This year, I stayed awake fine through Anne of Green Gables but we didn’t even manage to START Anne of Avonlea. We awoke to the sounds of celebration, yelling, cheering and fireworks. Must be 2008. Then we fell back asleep.

Oh Dianna…I can think of some other Anne of Green Gables “hits” that could be aired on You Tube! Good memories.

Christmas highlight – getting Anne of Green Gables on DVD!! I didn’t even know it existed. Now was this 1999 celebration when you (and Telfer) returned to NNU early in wake of the Y2K disaster?
