I am about eleven weeks and due at the very beginning of October. Got to see its little hands waving about today during the ultrasound. Very cute.

Wow! Josh was sure this would happen soon. He thought the dog was a step in the child direction. As a new parent I’ll say it is amazing. And I miss being pregnant because it was way easier. Have fun, rub the belly for me!

whoa…i am late on visiting your blog post baby announcement. although i am very pleased to see that the book cover made an appearance, and this makes me wonder if it found its way to librarything..
Anyway, the answer to a mother’s prayers, how wonderful.
My journey as a mother has been one of much tears and sadness–but even moreso, of love and laughter (the two Ls, as I always say!)
I am sure that your journey together will be just as rewarding and that Henry will find the place in his heart to accept this new little creature into the family.
I will look for a new edition of the book to give you in about two years’ time, just to give a little extra umph to the prayers.
As we all know–a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!
