Well, my 3rd favorite trick-or-treater was a blonde, blue-eyed, 3 year-old girl dressed up like spiderman.

I ask you: what is better than Librarian-themed tattoos?

Sadly, I lost the desire for a tattoo when I was about 25, mostly because I could never decide what I wanted. The world just does not need another butterfly tattoo. My mother is sighing with relief and Telfer is shaking his head. Now that I think about it, 25 was several years back so this isn’t news or really that interesting.

The quality of this picture is not so good…but the facial expressions and body positions? Priceless.

Just wanted to let everyone know we are safe – I have received several emails and phone calls asking so I am reassuring everyone at once.

The fires are certainly awful; we are 30 miles from the Lake Arrowhead fire and about 20 miles from the Running Springs fire. Redlands is not in the mountains, so we’ll be fine. The whole sky is filled with brown and yellow smoke and I can smell it from my third floor windowless office. Pray for those affected…
