The library is empty today, students are celebrating the fourth already, and I have a very cute little friend sleeping right underneath the reference desk. Meet Henry, our new Westie puppy! Telfer and I picked him up from the Phoenix-area yesterday…he’s adjusting pretty well. Henry seems to like Telfer and I BUT the whole pottying thing? Not so much. He’s already had his first bath (pooping in a crate makes quite the mess – ask Telfer). Thank you to Kori Frahm, who I woke up this morning, for the needed potty advice. I haven’t had a chance to upload the digital camera photos yet (this picture is from my phone), so check back for more pictures later.

what a cutie….and i love his name. i heard about his arrival a little earlier today while talking to alyssa, so i’ve been checking in for pictures.

he is adorable. excited to meet him in person. don’t worry that mom and I were looking at little dog clothes at Old Navy yesterday… we haven’t purchased anything yet-but we’ll see how long we can resist the temptation.
