RaChelle so covered this already on her blog, and all the photos I have are hers…so I’ll keep my commentary very short!
Ah, as I said (complained) to RaChelle the entire week before Hood to Coast, "why don’t we just get together and like shop and talk and eat at fun restaurants like normal friends?"
But, all complaining aside, I am so glad we did H2C this year. Making memories – you know, staying up all night, sleeping in fields, running down mountains (Andrea), running on injured legs (RaChelle), and so forth. Yesterday I was still a cranky, sore mess but today the whole event has a rosy, Telferish glow about it. Maybe I SHOULD do it again next year.
I have to post “kudos” on your blog. I am so impressed by your H2C experience.

Maybe…maybe…:-)…one of my favorite social studies peers (whose favorite saying is, “I smell a big, fat, commie rat.” in reference to district activities)was talking to Tara and I about our experience on Monday morning…he said, “isn’t it ALL done hill??” Love it.

Glad you two made it yet again- and glad that you have each other for this and that your friendship with me is not dependant on whether I would ever do H2C with you. Andrea- noticed in your current books from your library that you have connecting young adults and libraries, I am currently using it in class- wonder- should I spend 80 dollars on ordering it or should I spend 300 to come and pick it up from your house. Love you!
