I have had a hard time recovering from Hood to Coast (more later) – dirty socks and unopened mail are spread from one end of the house to another. I paged Telfer this morning, telling him I got up early to start some laundry and clean up after myself, and he responded with relief and commented that I tend to be a "little whirlwind of mess-making".
It’s true. Perversely, I make big, big messes cooking or cleaning or just living really and then go into an intense cleaning mode. The intensity frightens my laid-back husband. But! As of this morning, the socks, sports bras,
credit card offers, dirty dishes and other loose articles are back into place and the house is clean again. Until I get home.
