So, life is settling into such a nice rhythm. Cate eats, poops, smiles, sleeps, repeat. Two nights ago she slept five hours in a row. We walk every morning and I try to keep myself and the house somewhat presentable. And then our day is over! And somehow, I am wholly in love with the experience. 

Other doings:

• Last Saturday night Austin and Adrielle and Alyce took the three of us out to dinner to an awesome brewery in Escondido. I am not the beer lover in the family (wine list was good though), but the food was amazing and the atmosphere equally amazing. We are going to go back for lunch in a few months because the gardens are so beautiful we want to see them in the daytime.
• 'Tis interview season. Prospective residents are jockeying for spots and Telfer must wine and dine. I am a little jealous as he is going to all my favorite spots without me rather frequently (to put it mildly). But! He has brought me back choice morsels including cupcakes and fancy pizza. I can't complain too much. 
• Saturday will mark Cate's first flight. Pray for us! We are heading up to Olympia and then to Richland for Thanksgiving. Somehow, this is our eighth married Thanksgiving and the first one we will spend with my family. Not sure how that happened… Over the course of the week, we will see most of our families and RaChelle (who might be turning thirty here in just a few days).
