Rescued by the NYFD

We (Telfer, me, Eleanor, Cate and Henry) got stuck in our building's elevator this evening. The New York Fire Department rescued us…Thank goodness we had cell phone reception. I got to call 911 and everything.

It was a moment. Other news: Eleanor is staying with us for a few weeks until she finds an apartment. We are having a good time.

  1. Ok. First, I was thinking . . . at least Henry isn’t there, needing to . . .but there he was! He seemed to be the least perturbed, but I know he tends to internalize his frustrations. Happy Birthday?

  2. This is so awesome–I saw the post while we were in Kenya but could not pull up the youtube video and thought, “I hope she is pushing all the buttons and then deciding what they will do differently in their lives if they ever get out of that elevator.” I just pulled up the video and laughed so hard. It just fits, being friends with you.
